The Doubletree Grand Key Resort is a deluxe hotel that is located on the quiet side of Key West near the beach and only one mile from Key West International Airport. The hotel grounds are designed in a spectacular natural setting, surrounded by native flora and including a waterfall. The hotel is environmentally responsible with an operational philosophy that instills the highest standards of conservation and preservation. The hotel staff is able to assist guests with any needs that they may have. The Doubletree Grand Key Resort is one-half mile from the beach and ocean. But, the resort operates a complimentary shuttle to their Beach Club on Smather's Beach. An attendant at the club provides a chair, umbrella and towels. Boat rentals, volleyball, snorkeling and a wide variety of other beach activities are available. Guest rooms all have a casually elegant cottage décor and offer ample amenities, such as ceiling fans, as well as individual climate control. High speed Internet access (via the TV or your laptop), in-room movies, Sony Playstation, a mini-bar are also standard. The bathrooms have a separate full bath and shower.
